watchOS 27 is adding two new apps to Apple Watch: Siri and Find My. Both bring existing Apple services into dedicated experiences on the wrist, while also introducing changes to how users interact with Siri conversations and location features.
Siri Gets Its Own Apple Watch App
watchOS 27 introduces a dedicated Siri app alongside the major AI upgrades coming to Siri across Apple’s platforms. You can still activate Siri by pressing the Digital Crown, but the new app gives you another way to start a conversation and makes it easier to access previous interactions.
The biggest advantage of the app is Siri conversation history. Siri AI can keep a record of conversations across supported Apple devices, so the Siri app on Apple Watch can show conversations that were started on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro.
That makes the Siri app more than another way to launch the assistant. You can browse previous conversations directly from your wrist and continue interacting with Siri without having to repeat the context of an earlier request.
Find My Brings Everything Into One App
watchOS 27 also introduces a unified Find My app, replacing the three separate apps currently used for finding people, devices, and items on Apple Watch. In watchOS 26, those functions are split between Find Devices, Find Items, and Find People.
The new Find My app brings all three experiences together, so you can use a single interface to locate a person, find an Apple device, or track an item. This removes the need to decide which finding app to open before starting a search.
Find My uses a map-focused interface, with a menu in the upper-left corner letting you switch between the different things you’re looking for. The rest of the interface remains consistent, giving Apple Watch users a simpler way to move between different Find My features.
With watchOS 27, Apple is giving two of its most important services a more prominent place on the Apple Watch. The new Siri app adds access to AI conversations and history, while the unified Find My app brings Apple’s previously separated location tools together in one place.
