blackra1n – jailbreak for iPod Touch and iPhone 3.1.2 is out for Mac OS X
Written on 14 October, 2009 30 CommentsThe wait is quickly over. George has released blackra1n, the jailbreak tool for iPod Touch and iPhone firmware 3.1.2, for Mac OS X. It works exactly the same way as our guide for jailbreaking using blackra1n on Windows defined. There’s no word yet whether it supports the 3G 8GB iPod Touch as mentioned in our troubleshoot guide. Do let us know if it works for you in the comments below, and if you have issues don’t hesitate to ask. We’ll do our best to help you out!
Note: Do not try this if you want to keep using your unlocked iPhone, iPhone 3G or iPhone 3G S because it upgrades your baseband which will disable your unlock.
