Horrible Battery Life on iPhone 4 with iOS 5? You’re not alone!
Written on 19 October, 2011I’ve been reading about this issue all over the Internet and if you’ve come here, chances are that you’re suffering from this as well. Ever since the final release of iOS 5, the iPhone 4 battery drains like there’s a leak in it. Sure, I use my phone a lot more than the average person ( I know because people give me the looks which I rarely notice as my eyes are glued to the screen ) but the battery drains the most on standby which is just astonishing! How can my iPhone 4 lose 10% battery overnight after being fully charged and that too on stand by?
Facebook Messenger Updated to Version 1.5 – Shows Online Friends, Typing Indicator and More
Written on 19 October, 2011Facebook has updated their Messenger app for iPhone and iPod Touch with support for iOS 5 and turned it into more of a chat/messaging app hybrid. It was initially just a simple messaging app but has now gained status indicators to show which contacts are online and which are on mobile. During a conversation, typing indicator is also shown making it essentially a stand alone Facebook chat app as well as a quick way to access your inbox.

I am online and waiting to get mine, and so should you. Expect to see some weird activity, as the site will be getting hit hard with lots more people trying to get their phone. If you really want, wait until the morning to do your pre-order. Traffic will have slowed and it will be less frustrating to get your order in.
