Apple announced macOS Monterey during WWDC 2021 earlier this week. The update contains a number of major new features including improvements to Safari, FaceTime, Messages, Notes, Apple Maps, and Privacy. There are also new features like iCloud+ Privacy Relay and Hide My Email, AirPlay for Mac, Universal Control, Live Text, Focus, and a new Shortcuts app for Mac.
Apple has also included a new wallpaper in macOS Monterey which is available in light and dark variants, which you can download below.
macOS Monterey wallpapers
Technically, there is only one new macOS Monterey wallpaper. However, since it is a dynamic wallpaper, it changes appearance throughout the day from light to dark. We have extracted the light and dark variants of the wallpaper from macOS Monterey beta.
These versions of the wallpaper have been resized and compressed, making them quicker to download. Simply click on any of the images below to open the full image in a new tab, and right-click or long-press to download the wallpaper to your device. These look great on Mac, but we have also tried them on iPad and Windows PC, and they look great on them too.
