First iOS 4.2 Beta for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad now available for Download for Developers

As expected, Apple has released the first beta of iOS 4.2 to developers. This build brings all iOS devices i.e. iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad to the same version. Not only will iPad get all iOS 4 features, but a few new useful features like AirPlay, text searching in Safari and much more will be made available for all devices.

Here’s the complete list of features coming to iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch with iOS 4.2:

iOS 4.2 beta is now available to developers signed up with the Apple Developer Connection program.
