Apple has released iOS 26.6 beta 2 and iPadOS 26.6 beta 2 to developers for testing. While the update does not introduce any major new user-facing features, it includes several bug fixes across HealthKit, Object Capture, and StoreKit, along with a known issue affecting Stickers.

The latest beta arrives as Apple continues refining iOS 26 ahead of the upcoming iOS 27 release later this year. As expected for a late-cycle update, the focus remains on stability, reliability, and developer-facing improvements rather than significant feature additions.
One of the more notable fixes addresses an issue in HealthKit where authorization screens failed to appear when apps requested access to systolic or diastolic blood pressure data. Apple has also fixed a bug that could cause temporally weighted average statistics queries for certain discrete health metrics, including Resting Heart Rate, to return inaccurately high values when health samples overlapped in time.
For developers working with Object Capture, Apple says it has resolved an issue that could cause capture and reconstruction processes to fail. The framework is used to create 3D models from a series of photographs and is commonly used in augmented reality and 3D content workflows.
StoreKit also receives an important fix in iOS 26.6 beta 2. Apple resolved a problem where SKTestSession failed to connect properly to the test environment when running in Simulator, causing in-app purchase testing actions to fail.
Despite the fixes, Apple notes that a known issue remains with Stickers. In some cases, corrupted sticker data can prevent users from creating new stickers or viewing existing ones. Because sticker collections sync through iCloud, the issue may also affect other devices connected to the same Apple account.
Apple has not disclosed when iOS 26.6 will be released to the public. However, given the relatively small scope of changes included so far, the update appears focused on polishing the platform and resolving lingering issues before attention fully shifts to iOS 27 and iPadOS 27.
