The League of Legends: Wild Rift regional open beta is live!

Earlier today there seemed to be an unexpected technical problem due to which the League of Legends: Wild Rift’s Regional Open Beta’s launch was delayed. At that moment, Riot Games did not specify as to what caused the issue or how much will it take to resolve it.

Nevertheless, the Regional Open Beta has been launched along with the Jinx cinematic trailer; iOS and Android users can now download the much-awaited game. If, by any bad luck, someone was not selected for League of Legends: Wild Rift closed beta, now they do not have to worry since the Open Beta is live.

A brand new trailer was released which shows the usual champions on the Rift along with a brand new addition to the Wild Rift champions line up. In this patch, Alkali is finally released and her playstyle is quite familiar with the PC counterpart of the game.

The Regional Open Beta is now currently available for Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Timor-Leste, Thailand, and South Korea. Since the beta is started region-wise, more regions will be getting access to the beta by the end of this year and all through 2021. And unlike the closed beta, everyone in the named regions can get access to the beta.

New champions are going to be added to Wild Rift like Lee Sin the Blind Monk. Along with him, six more champions will be free to try including, Kai’sa, Everlynn, Seraphine, Draven, Akali, and last but not least, Darius.

Players in Japan and South Korea can log in to Wild Rift with a Riot account and achieve rewards which depend on how much time or money you have spent on the League PC.

League of Legends is one of the most famous games in the world and the most highly viewed esports title. In 2019, more than 100 million people watched League of Legends’ ‘World Championship’ which set a new precedence in the gaming industry. Additionally, a peak of 44 million concurrent viewers was recorded during the competition’s final round on November 10. Apple had announced the game during its iPhone 12 launch to showcase its performance and fast 5G networking.

Now that the Open Beta is live with a cinematic trailer, we look forward to what else League of Legends: Wild Rift brings us. From champions to different and new skins.
