Microsoft Expression Studio 3, the creativity suite that helps designers and and developers in designing rich internet and desktop applications and experiences, has been released as a 60 days free trial version on Microsoft Downloads website along with individual downloads of Expression Web 3, Expression Design 3 and Expression Encoder 3. Expression Blend 3 was already released as a trial some time ago (check out a detailed list of new features in Blend 3 and Web) Here’s a quick look at what’s new in each of these new releases:

Microsoft Expression Web 3

Expression Web 3 lets you build high quality and standards based websites with support for CSS, PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET or ASP.NET AJAX and much more. It contains visual editing tools to aid you in designing great looking websites. The new SuperPreview tool lets you preview your website in different browsers, side by side, and compare any visible differences.

Microsoft Expression Design 3

Expression Design 3 lets you create and edit high quality graphics for Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Microsoft Silverlight, and web images. It can also be used as an illustration tool as well as for web graphics designing.

Expression Encoder 3

With Microsoft Expression Encoder, you can import and encode video files, produce live webcasts, enhance media with watermarks and advertising, and publish with Microsoft Silverlight.

Expression Studio 3

Expression Studio 3 trial as a complete suite has also been released and includes Expression Blend™ + SketchFlow, Expression Web, Expression Design and Expression Encoder.

• 1 GB of RAM or more
• 1.5 GB or more of available hard-disk space
• .NET Framework 3.5 with Service Pack 1
• Support for Microsoft DirectX® 9.0 graphics with Windows Vista Display Driver Model (WDDM) Driver, 128 MB of graphics RAM or more, Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware, 32-bits per pixel
• DVD compatible drive
• 1024 x 768 or higher-resolution monitor
• Internet access (for Internet functionality; additional fees may apply)
• Some product features require Silverlight 2.0, Firefox 3.0, Internet Explorer 7 and AJAX Suite
