Final version of Microsoft Security Essentials releasing soon

I’ve been a very happy user of the limited beta for Microsoft Security Essentials, Microsoft’s free antivirus and anti-malware software. It has been the best antivirus that I have ever used, free or paid. Well, since Microsoft Security Essentials is free, I’m sure it’ll knock out the bloated competition *cough* Norton, Mcafee, Kaspersky *cough*. An email has been sent out to beta participants today with the news of an eminent final version public release in a few weeks.
It is also advised that you upgrade your version of Microsoft Security Essentials to 1.0.1500.0 if you haven’t already:
The final version of Microsoft Security Essentials will be released to the public in the coming weeks. If you are running the older version of the beta (1.0.1407.0), we encourage you to upgrade to a newer version of the beta (1.0.1500.0). To ensure a smoothest possible experience, please follow one of these options:
· Click on the ‘Upgrade Now’ button on the Microsoft Security Essentials Home tab. OR
· Select ‘Upgrade Microsoft Security Essentials’ under the Help drop-down menu
I’m sure the public will welcome the release of Microsoft Security Essentials, as it really provides bullet proof security to Windows. If you aren’t already using Microsoft Security Essentials, Softpedia has it available for download here.
