Apple’s iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPad Air (2020) now available for pre-order

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are officially available for pre-order on Apple’s online store along with carrier websites. Both smartphones will be available in retail stores starting on October 23. Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 mini and the 12 Pro Max start on Friday, November 6th with shipments slated for Friday, November 13. The iPad Air 4 announced in September is also available for pre-order.

The Cupertino tech giant’s new iPhone 12 lineup features faster 5G connectivity and a powerful A14 processor in a new iPad Pro-like flat edge-to-edge design. The new smartphone models are equipped with Super Retina XDR Display which is protected by a 4 times more durable Ceramic Shield front cover.

Pre-order iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Now

Major U.S. carriers including Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile are accepting pre-orders for new devices. Major online retailers such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart are also accepting pre-orders today. In terms of price, the iPhone 12 starts from $799, and the iPhone 12 Pro starts from $999.

Customers can also pre-order the devices directly from Apple’s website. Purchase options include carrier payment plans, the Apple Upgrade Program, Apple Card Monthly Installments, or payment in full.

In a new flat-edged design, the 2020 iPhone 12 models offer faster Face ID, more efficient A14 chip technology, and 5G connectivity. In the United States, all iPhone 12 models support both mmWave and sub-6GHz 5G networks, while in other countries, sub-6GHz 5G connectivity is available.

The more affordable iPhone 12 has a dual-lens camera setup, while the 12 Pro features a triple-lens camera with a LiDAR Scanner that improves AR functionality and allows users to take Night mode portraits.

iPad Air 4 Available for Pre-Order

Apple is also accepting pre-orders for the new iPad Air (2020). The tablet’s retail availability is also scheduled for October 23. Apple had originally announced the iPad Air 4 in mid-September at its ‘Time Flies’ event.

The new 10.9-inch tablet has a flat edge design and an all-screen Liquid Retina display with True Tone support and other improvements. Pricing for the tablet starts from $599 and it is available in silver, space gray, rose gold, green, and sky-blue color options.
