As a last-minute round-up of expected features, leaker PineLeaks claims that the upcoming iPhone 13 series, Apple Watch Series 7, and AirPods 3 are getting battery improvements and more. All the aforementioned products are expected to launch at the ‘California streaming’ event will be held virtually on September 14 at 10:00 a.m. PT. Here are the alleged new details on the upcoming devices.
2 models of the iPhone 13 series will ship with bigger batteries
As per the leaks, iPhone 13 series will retail for the same price as the iPhone 12 series. But the weight and thickness of the new smartphone models will be more than predecessor models, especially the Pro Max variant.
For the first time, Apple set the iPhone 12 Pro Max apart by offering additional features and the trend will continue in the new series as well. “The Pro Max variant will continue to be the true flagship smartphone.” The iPhone 13 Pro Max will get an 18%-20% larger battery and iPhone 13 mini will offer an additional hour of battery life. However, the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro will come with the same battery as the current variants.
The Pro models will feature a 120Hz refresh rate which would impact the battery life of the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro model with the same battery capacity as the iPhone 12 Pro model. In addition, the displays will throttle to a 60Hz refresh rate when Low Power Mode will be enabled.
And for the camera, sensors across the series will get at least 15% more light, but the Ultra-wide lense will capture up to 40% more light. @PineLeaks writes:

In comparison to AirPods 2, the charging case of the new AirPods 3 will get a 20% larger battery with support for wireless charging. However, the earbuds’ battery will be the same as the AirPods Pro. With a better base and low ends, the sound quality will be “slightly” better than the predecessors.
Apple Watch Series 7 will come a new design flat edge-to-edge design and with improved battery life. The leaker did not mention the percentage of battery improvement in the upcoming smartwatch series but says that it will the first battery life improvement since the launch of the original Apple Watch in 2015.
