Plus, he didn’t keep showing YouTube videos this time but instead just released the tool. No matter how you take it, the fact is, a jailbreak is available for all 3rd and 4th generation iOS devices. This includes iPhone 3GS/4, iPod Touch 3G/4G, and iPad. The best thing? It’s untethered!

Follow our guide to jailbreak your iPad using limera1n:

  1. Download limera1n

  2. hi, i tried the limera1n on my ipad running ios 3.2.2 but i just cant jailbreak it. any idea why? is is coz i amended my host file to allow for me to jailbreak my iphone a couple months back? thank you.

  3. Jailbreaked… i see limera1n app.. started limera1n app.. BUT i don’t see the CYDIA installer.. instead this is what i see under “Please select package(s)”
    “Please check your internet Connection. (Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1001 UserInfo=0x….etc)
    WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??? My internet connection is working just fine. tested browsing the internet thru safari and its working just fine.. so why the error message about my “internet connection”??? Please help! :(
