The iOS 27.3 beta includes an unfinished Siri AI memory graph that is built around you, covering your relationships, places, routines, health and workouts. An on-device or Private Cloud Compute model is meant to fill it by querying your Siri chats, messages, photos and health data.
iOS 27.2 already lets Siri AI recall your past conversations. The memory graph goes further by storing facts about you, though it is still being built.
The Siri AI memory graph stores facts, opinions and intentions about you
pdfu on X found the memory graph in the iOS 27.3 beta and posted the details. The graph is centered on you and holds your relationships, places, routines, health and workouts, along with what motivates you or holds you back.
On top of the graph sit memory atoms, which record facts, opinions, intentions and events together with the time, place, people and topic involved. Atoms can generalize into broader memories, and a parent atom is called a molecule. When Siri AI recalls something, a molecule in the results brings its child atoms with it.
Each atom is tagged with one of 21 topics, such as food, travel, finance or services. The services topic can store details like your dentist or your lawyer.
There’s more: 27.3 introduces a memory graph.
It’s centered on you: relationships, places, routines, health, workouts, and what motivates you or holds you back.
Plus “memory atoms”: facts, opinions, intentions and events, with time, place, people and topic.
Tidbits:
• The memory graph is filled by two kinds of recipes:
1. Fastpass: Turns already-structured data into insights. For example, Person-v1 reads your Me card’s name fields.
2. Agent: An on-device or PCC model extracts insights by querying Siri chats, messages, photos, health data, and other sources.
• There’s only one agent recipe today, MotivatorBarrierResource. Its prompt asks 60 built-in questions, including “Do extended solo media activities during evening downtime routines highlight time availability barriers for adequate sleep?”• The memory graph is still being built. For example, there’s no process that creates memory atoms yet.
• Memory atoms can generalize into broader memories. Each is tagged with one of 21 topics, such as food, travel, finance, or services, which can store your dentist or lawyer.
Here’s where to find the DBs on Mac:
• Memory graph: ~/Library/CorePersonalization/insight/MemoryGraph/memorygraph.db
• HybridSearch (incl. explicit-memory records, none yet): ~/Library/Daemon Containers/<UUID>/Data/Library/HybridSearch/index/C/index.dbBoth use HybridDatabase, Apple’s fork of Kùzu (storage v57), so the public kuzu package can’t open them. You can use HybridDatabase.framework.

A model answers 60 built-in questions about your habits to fill the graph
Two kinds of recipes fill the graph. Fastpass recipes turn data that is already structured into insights, such as the Person-v1 recipe that reads the name fields on your Me card.
Agent recipes use an on-device or Private Cloud Compute model that queries your Siri chats, messages, photos, health data and other sources. Only one agent recipe exists so far, and it is called MotivatorBarrierResource.
The recipe’s prompt asks 60 built-in questions. One question asks whether long solo media sessions in the evening are cutting into the time you have for sleep. iOS 27.2 added Excluded Apps, which lets you choose which apps Siri, Search and suggestions can access from one setting.
Apple’s own fork of Kuzu runs the search, and the graph is not finished
Siri AI searches memory records with full-text (BM25) and vector search, then merges the two result lists with a method called reciprocal rank fusion (RRF). The same pipeline already finds your past chats in iOS 27.2.
The database underneath is HybridDatabase, Apple’s fork of Kuzu, the graph database Apple bought in October 2025. It uses storage version 57, so the public Kuzu package cannot open the files, though HybridDatabase.framework can.
On a Mac, the memory graph is a file named memorygraph.db in the CorePersonalization folder of your Library. The HybridSearch index that holds explicit-memory records is still empty, and nothing creates memory atoms yet.
Apple has not announced the memory graph or said it will ship in iOS 27.3. The topics, recipes and 60 questions are part of an unfinished feature, and Apple can rework or remove any of them before release.
Later iOS 27.3 betas are where a visible version of the memory graph would show up first. Apple says the public release of iOS 27.3 is set for December.
