Apple has released tvOS 15.2 beta 3 to developers. The update is available as an over-the-air software update to Apple TV users who are already enrolled in the beta program.
Apple released tvOS 15 a few months ago with Spatial Audio support for AirPods, HomePod speaker support, Fitness+ updates, redesigned video player, and a new “Shared with You” section in the TV app. tvOS 15.1 was the second major update and shipped with SharePlay support.
What’s new in tvOS 15.2 beta 3?
November 16: The third beta is now available for tvOS 15.2. Nothing new is listed in the release notes so it likely includes just under-the-hood bug fixes.
What’s new in tvOS 15.2 beta 2?
November 9: The new update features just one developer-focused fix:
Fixed an issue where subscriptions continue to auto-renew after calling expireSubscription (productIdentifier:) in automated tests using StoreKit Test.

Apple has only shared two fixes in the release note for tvOS 15.2 beta:
HomeKit and HomePod
- HomePod media scenes fail when executed. (84441246)
Resolved in tvOS 15.2 beta
- Fixed an issue where using alert(_:isPresented:actions:message:) and confirmationDialog(_:isPresented:titleVisibility:actions:) didn’t present. (83731075)
It is unclear what features will Apple ship with the final version of tvOS 15.2. So far, it seems to be just bug fixes and likely under-the-hood performance updates. We will continue to update this post as we discover any new features.

Upgrade Apple TV to tvOS 15.2 beta
Unlike public beta updates for Apple TV, installing developer beta updates is not a simple process. Developers have to use Xcode and connect their Apple TV to a Mac.
