Danial Craig’s ‘Being James Bond’ feature will exclusively stream on the Apple TV app, ahead of ‘No Time to Die’ release

Deadline reports that a new ‘Being James Bond’ Retrospective With Daniel Craig feature will exclusively premiere on the Apple TV app for free. The feature will air ahead of the 25th installment of the James Bond franchise, ‘No Time To Die”. The movie is produced by Eon Productions, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and the screenplay is by Fukunaga, Robert Wade, Neal Purvis, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The upcoming 25th installation ‘No Time To Die’ will be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final appearance as the secret agent 007. The spy movie’s release has been delayed three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Firstly, it was scheduled to hit the screens in April 2020, and now it will premiere at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 28 September this Fall. Its theatrical release is set for 30 September 2021 in the U.K. and 8 October 2021 in the U.S.

As per the report, the exclusive ‘Being James Bond’ feature will shed light on Craig’s 15 years career as the British secret agent, James Bond, and will include never seen before footage. The feature is directed by Baillie Walsh and produced by Carla Poole, Charlie Thomas, and Special Treats Productions.

The 45-minute retrospective features Daniel Craig reflecting on his 15 years playing Bond, with never-before-seen archival footage from his oeuvre and conversations with 07 producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. It will be available for free to Apple TV customers in over 30 countries and regions from September 7 through October 7. No Time To Die, Craig’s last outing as Bond, will be released in theaters on Sept. 30 in the U.K. through Universal Pictures International and in the U.S. on Oct. 8 through MGM via United Artists Releasing.

At the end of his legacy as Bond, Craig shared that he enjoyed the experience thoroughly and his colleagues inspired him to look forward to filming every day. He said:

“A lot of people here have worked on five pictures with me,” the actor tells Wilson and Broccoli in the film. “I’ve loved every single second of these movies, and especially this one because I’ve got up every morning and I’ve had the chance to work with you guys, and that has been one of the greatest honors of my life.”
