In a new podcast episode, Apple leakers said that the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 will have a new flat edge-to-edge design and color.
Out of all of the upcoming Apple products, information on the next-generation smartwatch is scarce. Besides a new form, it is reported that the Cupertino tech giant will equip it with an optical sensor to introduce the ability to measure blood glucose without a needle. Current Apple Watch models offer several health features like monitoring ECG, Blood Oxygen level, heart rate, activity, and others which have pushed it in the market as not only a smartwatch but an efficient health monitoring device. So, if the Cupertino tech company introduces a Blood Glucose feature will surely give a boost in sales.
Apple might extend its flat edge-to-edge design and pastel green color to Apple Watch Series 7
While discussing Apple’s upcoming products and court case on @GenuisBarpodcast, leakers Jon Prosser and Sam Kohl claimed that the Cupertino tech giant will upgrade its smartwatch with the same design language as the recently launched iPad Pro and iMac. They also hinted that the smartwatch would also be available in a new pastel green color like the AirPods Max green.
This design claim is falling in line with a concept design created by Wilson Nicklaus in December 2020. Based on iPhone 12 design, Nicklaus imagined what the next Apple Watch Series 7 would look like if the company was to expand its smartphone design to its smartwatch. The concept Apple Watch had thinner bezels and body.
Previously, Prosser also reported that Apple will follow the same changes in more products like the upcoming MacBook Air models which will replace the slight wedge with a completely flat design and would be available in seven new colors like the new M1 iMac.
