New Apple Music 1 show featuring BTS to debut on Saturday, May 28

The series will debut on May 28 at 6 am PDT, ahead of the Grammy-nominated band’s first anthology album ‘Proof’ which is set to arrive on June 10th.

ABC News reports that the group members will “take listeners on their quest to stardom while sharing stories and songs that helped shaped them.”

“We wanted to use this radio show to celebrate nine years of BTS with you guys and with our ARMY all over the world,” said RM of the seven-member boy band — which also includes J-Hope, Suga, Jungkook, V, Jin and Jimin.

“Every episode is dedicated to you,” RM continues. “And we wanted to share the BTS songs that help tell our story.”

The last and final episode will examine how the band managed to grow past the genre of K-pop and went on to achieve global recognition with hits like “Butter” and “Dynamite”.

In addition to collaborating with BTS, Apple recently announced that Apple Music will start live streaming concerts this week as part of a new series: Apple Music Live. The series recently kicked off with a live performance of Harry Styles in New York.

Apple Music’s landing page for the event includes an interview with the artist about the making of the album, a link for fans to pre-add the album to their library, and several playlists focused on Styles.
