Meta has released a brand-new Facebook Creator Studio app for iPhone, repositioning what was once a web-based content management dashboard as an AI-powered standalone iOS app aimed at Facebook creators. The app is free and available globally on the App Store.
The relaunch reverses Meta’s 2023 strategy, when the company announced it would shut down the original Creator Studio and consolidate creator tools into Meta Business Suite. The new app goes in the opposite direction, pulling creator-specific features back into a dedicated product rather than burying them inside a broader business management platform.
What Facebook Creator Studio Actually Does
Meta is billing Facebook Creator Studio as an “AI-powered daily companion for Facebook creators,” with three headline features:
- Daily priorities surfaced automatically to help creators stay on top of their posting and engagement schedule
- Personalized tips to grow a creator’s audience on Facebook
- AI-generated comment replies designed to match the creator’s own voice
The AI comment reply feature is the most practically useful of the three. Managing replies at scale is a genuine pain point for anyone running a Facebook Page with meaningful engagement, and having the app generate on-brand responses rather than generic ones could cut a significant amount of daily friction. How well the voice-matching works in practice is the question Meta will need to answer quickly, since poorly matched AI replies are often more damaging than no reply at all.
The app requires iOS 18.0 or later and is 286.2 MB. A Mac version is also available, requiring macOS 15.0 and an Apple M1 chip or later, which means the Mac build runs natively on Apple silicon rather than relying on Catalyst or Rosetta translation.

Part of a Broader Push Toward Specialized Apps
Facebook Creator Studio is the third new specialized iOS app Meta has released in recent weeks, and the pattern looks deliberate. Meta launched a dedicated Seller app for Facebook Marketplace users in July and tested StoryKit, an AI-powered children’s story creation app, in select markets in late July. Each app targets a specific use case rather than folding functionality into a single platform, which is a direct inversion of the Meta Business Suite philosophy.
For Facebook creators, the original Creator Studio on the web was widely used and genuinely useful before Meta folded it into Business Suite, which was built more with advertisers and small businesses in mind than individual content creators.
The new app is effectively an acknowledgment that those two audiences have meaningfully different needs and workflows. Creators managing a Facebook Page for personal brand or entertainment purposes have little use for ad campaign management tools sitting three taps away from their post analytics, a tension already visible in how some popular iPhone apps handle creator and audience data.
