PokeSui is a free drawing app for the iPhone Duo where you sketch a fish on the bottom screen and watch it swim in an aquarium on the top screen. It also works on a regular iPhone or iPad, but the app requires iOS 27 or later.
It joins a growing list of apps optimized for the iPhone Duo that give the two screens separate jobs, like the Midnight Fridge memory game. PokeSui is free to download, with a one-time Mission Pass for the later rewards.
PokeSui turns a half-open iPhone Duo into a tank and a drawing pad
ViRD released PokeSui on the App Store on November 5 and showed it on X with an iPhone Duo held half-open like a laptop. The top screen becomes the aquarium, and the bottom screen becomes the drawing pad.
You sketch a fish with your finger and tap Send to Tank. The fish sparkles, flies up into the water and starts swimming right away. ViRD says the app works well on a regular iPhone too, and it also runs on iPad.

Each creature type moves in its own way
You can sprinkle food into the tank and the fish rush over to eat it. Tapping a fish bursts it into hearts, and fish also hide behind coral and rocks and drift between the back and the front of the tank.
Every creature type has its own size and way of moving. Sardines swim in a school, the whale shark is huge and slow, and the tuna is very fast. A flying fish leaps out of the tank, and a pufferfish puffs up when you pet it.
The squid jets forward, and the garden eel pops out of the sand. Jellyfish, crabs, sea snakes, sea snails, sea turtles, seahorses and kelp are also in the game.
PokeSui has seven tanks: Coral Reef, Deep Sea, Kelp Forest, Shipwreck, Tropical Sea, River and Real Ocean. Each tank keeps its own fish. The catalog saves up to 100 of your drawings, so you can give them names and notes and put a favorite back in a tank later.
Missions unlock new creatures and tanks, and the app collects no data
Missions such as drawing three fish or feeding the fish five times unlock new creature types, new tanks and more room in each tank. The first three missions are free, and a one-time Mission Pass collects the remaining rewards.
ViRD says the app collects no data, shows no ads and needs no account, and it works offline. You need iOS 27.0 or later, and the download is 31.5 MB. The app is in English and Japanese and has a 4+ age rating.
