In September, 2019, California tech giant launched its own gaming zone ‘Apple Arcade’ on the App Store. Accessible to people around the globe, it is a subscription based video games service which is available on the App Store of all devices: iOS, iPadOS, macOS and tvOS.
All games on the Apple Arcade have no in-app purchases, advertisements and always-on DRM. As Apple holds users privacy very important, the company does not use downloaded games to track users’ data. To make the game play fun, third party controllers are compatible like Xbox One and DualShock 4.
