iOS 4.3 Released for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad–Unlockers/Jailbreakers Stay Away!

Finally, Apple has released iOS 4.3 to iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users. BGR’s report for yesterday’s iOS 4.3 release turned out to be wrong, but today’s earlier release of iTunes 10.2.1 meant that the iOS release is near.

What does iOS 4.3 bring to the table? A faster browsing experience thanks to the Nitro engine in Mobile Safari, AirPlay support for third party apps, mute switch/rotation lock toggle in settings, Personal Hotspot. See more here.

Only the following iOS devices are supported by iOS 4.3:

  • iPhone 3GS
  • iPhone 4 (GSM)
  • iPod Touch 3G
  • iPod Touch 4G
  • iPad
  • iPad 2

To upgrade to iOS 4.3, just connect your iOS device to your computer and run iTunes. If you use an unlocked iPhone or a jailbroken iOS device, stay away from this update. We will update you when it’s safe to do so.
