If Apple hosts the September event on the 12th of the next month, then we are only 4 weeks away from the launch of the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro.
Reportedly, Apple has introduced several new features across the iPhone 15 series like USB-C port, display and camera improvements, new color options, and more. The tech giant has introduced advanced features in iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max which widen the gap between standard and pro models.
iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are expected to feature a titanium body, a customizable Action Button like the Apple Watch Ultra (2022), thinner bezels, the world’s first 3nm chip, A17, periscope lens in the rear camera for improved zoom, bigger battery and much more.

The number of upgrades raises a genuine concern about the increase in the price of new iPhones. Rumor mills claim that iPhone 15 Pro models will be more expensive than the current iPhone 14 Pro models.
How much more expensive iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro will be than iPhone 14 models?
Currently, the iPhone 14 series retails for the following:
- iPhone 14 – starting at $ 799
- iPhone 14 Plus – starting at $ 899
- iPhone 14 Pro – starting at $999
- iPhone 14 Pro Max – starting at $1099
Ahead of iPhone 14 series launch in 2022, Ming-Chi Kuo reported that Apple would increase its price by $100 across models. Although the tech giant didn’t increase the price last year, consumers can expect a $100 price increase in the price of the new Pro models series this year. With that hike, the iPhone 15 Pro models would cost:
- iPhone 15 Pro – starting at $1,199
- iPhone 15 Pro Max- starting at $1,099
Apple is also reported to launch a new iPhone 15 Ultra to widen the gap between the Pro and Pro Max models. iPhone 15 Ultra is expected to feature two front cameras, an ultra-low energy microprocessor, much thinner bezels, and more. Therefore, it might be $200 more expensive than iPhone 14 Pro Max.
- iPhone 15 Ultra – starting $1, 299
As iPhone 14 Plus was not as successful as the high-end models, it is possible that Apple would keep the same price as its successor.
- iPhone 15 – $ 799
- iPhone 15 Plus – $ 899
