iOS 15.0.1 fixes some issues but many more issues exist
iOS 15 was just released last week, and Apple has released this new update on Friday which is not a usual day for software updates from the company. A number of bugs have been reported in iOS 15, especially on iPhone 13, so far. These include the following:
- CarPlay is crashing when connected to iPhone 13 running iOS 15 – a widespread issue
- On iOS 15, AirPod Pro owners can not use Siri to control Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency features
- iOS 15 bug is deleting photos saved from iMessage chats after an iCloud backup
- Several iPhone owners report an intermittent touch issue on iOS 15
- Restoring iPhone 13, iPad mini, and iPad 9 from backup might cause widgets to reset
- Third-party apps cannot use 120Hz ProMotion on iPhone 13, Apple is working on a fix
Even third-party apps like Spotify have not had smooth iOS 15 updates, as the app reportedly has a high battery drain issue with the new operating system. Even some security issues are left unfixed in the new update so far.
You can follow some workarounds to fix some iOS 15 issues, including battery drain, Wi-Fi issues, and Bluetooth issues, but the aforementioned issues require Apple to release further software updates.
