iOS 16.1 beta extends the Battery Percentage UI to iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 12 mini and others

Apple recently seeded iOS 16.1 beta 1 to developers and beta testers. It is reported that the new Battery Percentage UI on iOS 16 is expanded to other latest iPhone models like iPhone 13 mini, and iPhone 12 mini.

On iPhone models with FaceID or a notch, Apple reintroduced battery percentage in numbers to appear on the home screen’s status. Previously, the minor change was only available on larger iPhone models. Prior to iOS 16, iPhone with Face ID users had to swipe down the Control Center to see the battery percentage.

Users on Twitter and other forums shared that the latest iOS 16.1 beta 1 update includes Battery Percentage for iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 11, and iPhone XR. The public release of the update will expand the feature to all iPhone models with a notch.
