The redesigned Health app is back in the iOS 27.3 developer beta, as per the latest update from Apple. The app now supports global English and 10 other languages and variants, with a free software update coming later this year.
Apple removed the redesign from iOS 27.2 beta 4 in October, and iOS 27.3 beta 1 is the build that restores it. Apple confirmed the expanded language support on November 3 for both iPhone and iPad.
The redesigned Health app now supports 11 languages and variants
Beyond global English, the app works in Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese. Apple’s September plan started the app in US English only, and German, Italian, Dutch, Danish and Swedish are the Apple Intelligence languages still missing from the Health app, with more languages planned.
Registered developers can install the developer beta from Settings, General, Software Update. Health was the biggest of three iOS 27 features Apple had promised but not shipped, and Apple has not said which update brings it to everyone.
The Insights tab, Longevity tab and movement evaluations carry the redesign
The Insights tab summarizes heart, sleep, readiness, fitness, vitals and cycle tracking data through the day. A For You section adds recommendations based on your habits, such as adjusting a wind-down routine after several nights of interrupted sleep. The app also carries videos and articles from Health app clinical experts.
The Longevity tab tracks heart health, sleep, mental wellbeing, movement, metabolic health, hearing and nutrition over time. Health Age sits at its center and turns Apple Watch data such as VO2 max, resting heart rate, sleep and heart rate variability into a number that shows how your body is tracking against your age. You can also add lab results such as A1c and LDL cholesterol to your long-term data.
At-home movement evaluations use the iPhone camera and Apple Watch to measure flexibility, strength, balance, movement mechanics and VO2 max with real-time audio and visual feedback. Apple says the vision-based models run entirely on device and no video is recorded, stored or shared.
Health Age needs an Apple Watch and some features are iPhone only
The app runs on iPhone and iPad models with Apple Intelligence, and some features work only on iPhone. Health Age requires an Apple Watch, while the VO2 max test works with an Apple Watch, AirPods Pro 3 or a third-party heart rate sensor. Some features may not be available in every region or language, and others are limited to users who are 18 or older.
