Apple TV+ team has officially announced that its psychological horror thriller “Servant” by Academy Award-nominated director M. Night Shyamalan is “renewed” for a third season. The second season of the show is set to premiere on January 15, 2021. Therefore, it is likely that season 3 will air by 2022.
Apple TV+ offers a variety of originals titles for adults and kids. Since its launching in 2019, the ad-free video streaming service has earned a good reputation for its content; Peanuts in Space and Ghostwriter won Emmy awards and The Morning Show earned 5 Emmy nominations along with 13 other nominations in various categories.
Apple TV+ announces season 3 of “Servant”
In season 1, the story of the Servant started when a Philadelphia couple, Sean Turner and Dorothy hires a young nanny Leanne for their infant son Jericho who is a reborn doll. The house turns into a breeding ground for frightening and unexplained incidents.
Starring Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, Rupert Grint, and Nell Tiger Free, the 10-episodes of the new season 2 will further unfold the mystery behind the characters and their dark past.
Following its suspenseful season one finale, the second season takes a supernatural turn with a darker future for all lying ahead as Leanne returns to the brownstone and her true nature is revealed.
The horror thriller is written and co-produced by Tony Basgallop, a BAFTA-nominated executive producer and writer. Other executive producers of Servant are Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, Steve Tisch, Todd Black, Patrick Markey, and Taylor Latham.
Renewed seasons of other titles coming soon on Apple TV+ are “Dickinson’ season 2 coming on January 8, 2021, “For All Mankind” season 2 set to premiere on February 19, 2021, and season 2 of the hit comedy “Ted Lasso” will air in August 2021. Like the Servant, the comedy show “Ted Lasso” is also renewed for season 3.

It is also compatible with select third-party TV sets like Samsung, Sony, LG, VIZIO, Amazon Fire, and Roku devices. Xbox consoles and PlayStation users can also enjoy the video streaming service. Apple One subscribers can enjoy Apple TV+ along with other services for a monthly fee starting from $14.95.
