Apple seeds release candidates for iOS 17.1, macOS 14.1, tvOS 17.1, and watchOS 10.1 to developers

Apple has seeded the release candidates for iOS 17.1, iPadOS 17.1, macOS 14.1, tvOS 17.1, and watchOS 10.1. The updates feature a number of new changes and bug fixes, including the double tap gesture for Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2, and other improvements for iPhones.

October 17 – Apple has rolled out the release candidate builds for iOS 17.1, iPadOS 17.1, watchOS 10.1, macOS Sonoma 14.1, and tvOS 17.1.

October 10 – Apple has released the third developer betas for iOS 17.1, iPadOS 17.1, watchOS 10.1, macOS Sonoma 14.1, and tvOS 17.1.

October 3 – Apple has released the second developer beta updates for iOS 17.1, iPadOS 17.1, watchOS 10.1, macOS Sonoma 14.1, and tvOS 17.1.

September 27 – Even though Apple released iOS 17, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17 a little over a week ago, it has already rolled out a number of minor software updates, mainly aimed at bug fixes and security updates. This is the first major software update for these releases, originally announced at WWDC 2023.

It is expected that these software updates will include some of the delayed features like the Journal app, AirDrop updates, Apple Music updates, and more.
